I photograph newborns, babies, children and families in Wichita, KS and the surrounding areas, including Derby, Maize, Goddard, Haysville, and Andover. I may also be available to travel to additional areas in Kansas and Oklahoma. Please inquire for more details.

Sessions will generally last 1-2 hours, but this is just an estimate! Sessions may run more or less, depending on how it's going. The job of the parents is to sit back... and trust me to capture the images! Newborn sessions usually last 2-4 hours, depending on the temperament of the baby. I love natural light, and prefer to use it whenever possible, but sometimes it's just not an option. Rest assured, I'm experienced and skilled in both natural light and studio photography (you'll find a mix of both in the sample images on my website). When I shoot indoor sessions, I also bring my studio lighting as a back up.

All sessions are held at the location of your choice. If you are seeking images to show your everyday life and interaction, the best place for your session is in your home, or at your favorite place (it could be a park, or somewhere fun you go to play). I have several great locations we can use as well! Newborn sessions are always held in your home, for your convenience.

Maternity sessions are best held between 34-36 weeks. It should be when your belly is really showing, but before you become too uncomfortable. Newborns should be photographed within the first ten days. Five to seven days old is best. Please schedule your session well in advance. Newborn sessions are best scheduled while you are pregnant, preferably in the 2nd- early 3rd trimester. Sessions are held by appointment only.
